This enables Us to concentrate on developing solutions that come with strong security and privacy turned on by default. We use the most advanced security measures available to stop unauthorized access, release, manipulation, or loss of any of Your data.

Single Sign-On

You have the option to use a third-party authentication service to sign in to the Telxy Service. Single Sign-On (SSO) is the term used to describe the requirement that You authenticate with the third-party identity provider before you can use the Service. You can use the built-in Facebook and Google identity connectors in the Service at your discretion. Telxy additionally provides a custom functionality that allows You to define Your own SSO service.

When logging in with SSO, You will be taken to the authentication agent for that specific identity provider, where Your login information (often a name and password) will be used to confirm Your identity. The login information used by a third-party identity provider is not accessible to Telxy. Once Your identity has been confirmed and You have been given access to the Service, a token is returned to Us after Your SSO authentication.

Any sensitive information you discuss with your patient regarding their health or other matters is encrypted using the SSL Internet protocol across a secure connection. The audio-video portion of the Session cannot and will not be viewed by Telxy.

File Transfer

If You choose to send a file to the patient, it will be automatically deleted from Our server 15 minutes after the transfer is complete. On the other hand, if a Patient gives You a file, it will be automatically destroyed after the transmission is over, which takes about 15 minutes.

Telxy does not keep or utilize any of the information entered in the payment pop-up screen. Visit for more information.

Teleconsent Appointment Consent Form

A patient’s signature on a Teleconsent Appointment Consent Form may be requested or required. The form’s intent is to communicate what telehealth communication is, patient rights, and each party’s responsibilities. Depending on the category of your account, Telxy offers a template form or lets you upload your own.

Following the patient’s signature, the form should be downloaded by both You and Your Patient because the service will not save it and it will be fully deleted.

Session Privacy

You can turn off the audio, the video, or both at any moment throughout the session. You may find it difficult to communicate with the patient effectively if you accomplish this. You could, however, occasionally want to turn off the audio or the video for private reasons.

At any point, you can end the session.

If You are a Patient

This section only applies if You want to use the Service to hold a video conference with a Provider who has provided You with a special web link. Some features don’t turn on automatically; you have to explicitly authorize them.

Types of Data Processed

Name to Enter Waiting Room

The Service can be used by Patients without them having to create an account or register with Telxy.

To access the waiting area, a Provider will send You a link to the Provider Website by email or text. You will be directed to the welcome screen after clicking that link, where you must enter your name and press the “Check In” button.

Your name, which is used for initial identification, is only visible to the Provider. There is no necessity that You use Your entire name, nor is there any way to verify the information. Your name is not saved or utilized in any other way by the Service; it is just used for the current session.

Session Privacy

You can turn off the audio, the video, or both at any moment throughout the session. Effective contact with the Provider could be hindered if you do this. You could, however, occasionally want to turn off the audio or the video for private reasons.

The session may also be ended at any time by you.

Protected Health Information (PHI)

The Patient and Provider Session does not involve the collection of any PHI, despite the Telxy Service being aimed at the healthcare industry.

Any sensitive information you discuss with or submit to the provider, including medical information, is transmitted through a secure channel utilizing the SSL Internet protocol.

File Transfer

When You transmit a file to the Provider, it will be sent securely and erased after 15 minutes.

Snap a photo

In the event that Your Provider decides to take a picture of You, the picture will be transferred safely and then deleted within 15 minutes.

Chats

Any conversations between You and the Provider are not stored on Telxy services, but only momentarily in computer memory. The chat history is wiped permanently once the browser is closed.

Payment Information

If you choose to pay the Provider during the Session, a credit card authorization screen will show up and request your name and credit card details. All credit card transactions are handled by a third party. Telxy does not collect or utilize any of the information you submit on the payment pop-up screen.

Teleconsent Appointment Consent Form

Your healthcare provider may request that you fill out a Teleconsent Appointment Consent Form. The form’s objective is to inform you of your legal rights and obligations as well as what Telehealth communication is. Completely reading the form is advised, and you shouldn’t be afraid to approach Your Provider for explanations.

When you click the mouse to electronically capture your signature and embed it in the form, you will be asked to sign the document if it requires one. The form can be downloaded by You and Your Provider, but the Service does not store it.

Screenshare

You can share all or a portion of your computer screen with the provider using a tool offered by the service. You will receive an alert inviting you to connect your screen or a specific window.

Sharing one’s screen comes with obvious privacy concerns. You are responsible for making sure that no private or sensitive information (apart from what you want to show the provider) is visible during the screensharing session.

If you don’t want the screenshare provider to be able to see your email system or other open windows, for example, it would be best to close any open windows or programs before the screenshare.
